By using the services of S&Y Courier the customer agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all shipments handled by the company.
2. Services Provided
We provide shipping, transportation, and delivery services for packages locally and/or internationally. We reserve the right to refuse service for any package that violates our policies.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete shipment information.
Properly package items to prevent damage.
Ensure items shipped comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Pay all required shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited:
Illegal drugs or substances
Weapons and ammunition
Explosives and hazardous materials
Perishable items without prior approval
Any illegal or restricted goods
We reserve the right to refuse or confiscate prohibited items.
5. Shipping Fees and Payments
All shipping fees must be paid before delivery unless otherwise agreed.
Additional charges may apply for overweight, oversized, or special handling items.
Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Delivery Time
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We are not responsible for delays beyond our control.
7. Loss or Damage
We take reasonable care in handling packages.
Claims for lost or damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Compensation is limited to the declared value of the item, unless additional insurance was purchased.
We are not responsible for items improperly packaged.
8. Insurance
Insurance is optional and must be requested at the time of shipment. Additional fees apply. Without insurance, compensation may be limited.
9. Customs and Clearance
International shipments may be subject to customs inspection. The customer is responsible for providing accurate declarations and paying any duties or taxes.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Delays caused by customs, weather, or third parties
Loss or damage due to improper packaging
Our liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment.
11. Refused or Unclaimed Packages
Packages refused or unclaimed may be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense or disposed of after a reasonable period.
12. Privacy
Customer information will be kept confidential and used only for shipping and business purposes.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be effective immediately upon posting.
